Item description

1971 VG VALIANT REGAL, 318, V8, 770 PACK, AIR COND VERY UNIQUE, RARE AND RELIABLE MUSCLE CAR The short story is that the car is in excellent condition for a 45 year old vehicle, drives starts and looks great. Long version below. I purchased this vehicle to keep forever and have spent lots of money to get her here, however things have changed. The Compliance plate will verify she is a rare Valiant Regal 318 V8 Auto with 770 Pack and Air Conditioning from factory. Original colour is Metallic sky blue but now wrapped in another Valiant colour - "Vitamin C" from Spies Hecker. Paint finish is immaculate. I've had this vehicle for approx 9 years and lovingly done her up. Most of the work was done about 6 years ago. Motor is mild and runs sweet and strong. Ford 9inch Diff is excellent. The 727 Torqueflite received a full reco about 6 years ago and is still perfect. She is a Sunday cruiser that sits in the garage locked up and car cover over her. Just doesn't get out much, probably only done 4-5000 Km's in last 6 years, if that. Took her on a 10 hour return trip with no drama. Speedo is in MPH and is exact. Lots and lots of new parts purchased or re-chromed etc. Rego is March 2016. Plates are NOT part of this sale. ENGINE BAY; • New Massive burnout king Aluminium radiator with twin thermos, I don't do burnouts, its just the name from manufacturer • New Stainless steel overflow cylinder for radiator • New heavy duty transmission oil cooler • New Distributor mapped and built to suit engine • New spark plugs • New battery tray • New aftermarket alloy dipstick for transmission • Electronic ignition - starts instantly • Wiring is partly concealed • New twin relay for headlights • Holley 600 cfm carby with vacuum secondaries • Edelbrock water pump • Edelbrock Performer intake manifold • Extra heavy duty power cabling and terminals • Relocated oil filter to keep engine bay cleaner • I have a heater box which is complete but not yet installed • Bigger brake booster from later model Valiant UNDERBODY; • Had wheel alignment done about 100Kms ago and some bushes replaced • New rear brake shoes - about 200 Kms ago • New Rear tyres are 245 and front are also new 215 sitting on Weld Racing Pro Stars. Super strong and super lightweight • New bigger front discs with Ford studs which are bigger and stronger then Valiant • New complete steel brake lines to replace the old and illegal copper ones • Genie extractors and new 2 and half inch sports exhaust with stainless Chevy drops EXTERIOR; • Full respray in Valiant Vitamin C. Awesome paint work. Almost no rust prior to painting and no rust now 5 years later.
